ABOUT US
Mosaic Unlimited is a Colorado nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and communities in North Aurora through evidence-based parenting programs, fatherhood support, and
community safety initiatives.
The organization delivers culturally responsive programming that reflects the diversity of the community it serves and partners closely with local government, service providers, and residents to build safer, more connected neighborhoods.
Mosaic Unlimited was founded days before Christmas in 2017 by Reid Hettich and a group of community members to intentionally serve as a resource to the residents of North Aurora, one of the most diverse and economically
challenged areas of the Greater Denver Region.
While the newly formed Mosaic Unlimited team were also residents of North Aurora and therefore aware of many of the challenges facing their community, the organization committed all of 2018 to conduct community research. Their neighbors shared their concerns and hopes, and also shared where they felt gaps were present in the community.
After a year of research and setting up infrastructure, Mosaic partnered with organizations such as Sistahood Project, El Alba Cooperative and Resident Leadership Council to support their initiatives by providing technical support, consulting, fiscal sponsorship and event support. MosaicUnlimited began 2020 by partnering with the City of Aurora in the implementation of its Housing Program and planning to provide other services to the community. Mosaic Unlimited continues to partner with the City of Aurora in the execution of their pre-pandemic and pandemic-related programming, in addition to partnering with other local organizations.
